Why This Site Exists

Our Mission

More than a decade ago, I launched this website to celebrate the left-handers of the world—a group often overlooked, misunderstood, or even forced to conform. At the time, information about who was truly left-handed was limited. I relied on the best sources available, some of which I now know weren’t entirely accurate.

But this site was never just about which hand someone wrote with. It was about something deeper: the unique spirit so often associated with left-handers—creativity, resilience, nonconformity, innovation, and intellect. The people I profiled were chosen not only because they were believed to be left-handed, but because they embodied these very qualities.

Some were likely right-handed. Some were ambidextrous. Some were forced to switch. But all of them reflect the left-handed experience in one way or another—whether through their lives, their work, or the challenges they overcame.

This site remains a tribute: to the left-handers of the world, to those who were told to change, and to those who dared to think differently—no matter which hand they used.
